Mr. Stefano Mallia Stefano holds an Honours degree in Business Management and a Masters degree in European Studies. He has been involved in EU affairs since 1998 and has participated in a number of key studies analysing the impact of EU membership on various sectors of the Maltese economy. He was one of the key authors of the only Macro-economic study carried out in 2002 using econometric techniques, to evaluate the medium to long-term impact of EU membership on Malta’s economy. He has also contributed as key expert in a number of position papers prepared during accession negotiations with the EU. At the age of 36 Stefano Mallia was elected as the
youngest ever Senior Vice President of the Malta Chamber of Commerce and
Enterprise. He is also on the Board of Trustees of the Malta Business
Foundation which represents the Malta Chamber of Commerce and Enterprise,
the Federation of Industry and the Malta Hotel and Restaurants Association
on European Affairs. |
